Installing Oracle GoldenGate 12c on Linux

Unlike the older GG installation that you just need to unzip in target directory…OGG 12c is different, now you need to use runInstaller.

1. unzip [oracle@oracle1 installer]$ unzip 121200_fbo_ggs_Linux_x64_shiphome.zip -d /home/oracle/gg12c

     [oracle@oracle1 installer]$ cd /home/oracle/gg12c
	[oracle@oracle1 gg12c]$ ls -lrt
	total 552
	drwxr-xr-x 3 oracle oinstall 4096 Sep 25 05:59 fbo_ggs_Linux_x64_shiphome
	-rw-r--r-- 1 oracle oinstall 282049 Oct 6 18:04 OGG_WinUnix_Rel_Notes_12.1.2.0.0.pdf
	-rw-r--r-- 1 oracle oinstall 93696 Oct 6 18:04 Oracle-GoldenGate-12.1.2.0-README.doc
	-rw-r--r-- 1 oracle oinstall 144384 Oct 6 18:04 OGG_WinUnix_Rel_Notes_12.1.2.0.0.doc
	-rw-r--r-- 1 oracle oinstall 23528 Oct 6 18:04 Oracle-GoldenGate-12.1.2.0-README.txt
	[oracle@oracle1 gg12c]$

2. edit../fbo_ggs_Linux_x64_shiphome/Disk1/response/oggcore.rsp
